Sohel Rana is an Assistant Secretary working for the Government of Bangladesh in the Ministry of Public Administration. He studied public policy at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in the University of Minnesota where he collaborated with Professor Ragui Assaad in analyzing Egyptian industrial and labor market trends as a research assistant. His research interests include industrial development with a focus on labor market inefficiencies in developing economies, and economic decision analysis.
